NEET Entrance Exam Notification
My son wants to do the MBBS course so he needs to write the NEET Entrance Exam. Can you share the notification of the NEET Entrance Exam and also tell me about the important dates and procedure to apply for the entrance exam?

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry. Admissions to all seats of MBBS/BDS will be done through NEET (UG) 2018. There are following quota seats available: - i. All India Quota Seats ii. State Government Quota Seats iii. Central Institutions/Universities/Deemed Universities iv. State/Management/NRI Quota Seats in Private Medical / Dental Colleges or any Private University v. Central Pool Quota Seats NEET Eligibility Criteria The age of the candidates must at least be 17 years. The candidates must not exceed 25 years in age. One must have qualified in Class 12 or qualifying examination or must be appearing in the same in same year. In the qualifying exam one must have scored an aggregate of 50% (for unreserved), 45% (for Physically Handicapped -PH), and 40% (for reserved including the PH reserved) in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. One must have studied Biology/Biotechnology with practical in both Classes 11 and 12. One with Biology as an additional subject in Class 12 alone is also eligible for NEET. |
