Is NDA only for male
Will you please tell me the National Defence Academy only for male, give me details about the eligibility required to apply for it?

National Defence Academy (NDA) is an national level entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruiting candidates to the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force. The NDA exam is conducted twice in a year i.e. NDA (I) in the month of April, 2016 NDA (II) in the month of September. Eligibility: The candidates must be a citizen of India Only unmarried male candidates are allowed to write the NDA exam Educational Qualifications: For Indian Army wing of National Defence Academy: Candidates must have passed 12th from a recognized board For Air force and Indian Navy: Candidates must have passed 12th with physics and Mathematics from a recognized board Important Dates NDA NA Exam (1) 2016 Date of Notification: 2nd January, 2016 Last date for filled application Forms: 29 January , 2016 Date of exam: 17th April , 2016 NDA NA Exam (2) 2016 Date of Notification: 18th June, 2016 Last date for filled application Forms: 15 July, 2016 Date of exam: 18th September, 2016 Exam Pattern The NDA exam consist of two papers: Mathematics and General ability test, below we have discussed both the papers in details. Mathematics: The mathematics paper is of 300 marks and consist of multiple choice questions based on the syllabus of class 10th and 11th. The time allowed to write the paper is 2.5 hr. General Ability: The General Ability test comprises of two section i.e. Section A and Section B. The section A is of English (200 marks) and Section B (400 marks) is of general knowledge. |
