How can I join the National Defence Academy (NDA) Naval Academy? I have passed the +2 exam and now I want to join the National Defence Academy. Please assist me to join the Naval Academy and preparation for the entrance exam? Thanks a ton.

The Union Public Service Commission conducts National Defence Academy NDA Exam for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA and for Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC).

National Defence Academy: 360 (208 for Army, 60 for Navy and 92 for Air Force)

Naval Academy: 55 (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme) approx

Date of Notification: 15 January 2018

Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 05th February 2018

Date of NDA 2018 (I) Examination: 22nd April 2018 (Sunday)

NDA Eligibility Criteria

For Army wing of NDA:

You should have passed class 12th examination.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy:

You should have passed class 12th examination with Physics and Mathematics.

Age Limit:

For NDA(I) 2018, only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02 July 1999 and not later than 1 July 2002 are eligible.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/MasterCard Credit/Debit Card

Excepting SC/ST candidates/Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs specified in Note 2 below who are exempted from payment of fee
