NDA after B.Tech

Hi I am Anisha and I have completed B.Tech course now I want to apply for National Defence Academy NDA exam to join Navy so can I apply for this exam? Also tell me the important dates of National Defence Academy NDA exam?

UPSC NDA entrance exam is a gateway for the aspirants who want to make their career in Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

This national level test is held twice (NDA I and NDA II) every year in the months of April and November

If you want to join in NDA after Btech for that you have to appear in exams which are conducted by UPSC..

UES(university entry scheme)

EKT(engineering knowledge test)

CDS(combined defense service

Job profiles:

The technical officers are trained for the Technical Arms like Artillery, Air Defence(AD), Engineers, EME, Signals, etc.

The Missile Regiments (Including the Brahmos and Agni) are preferably under the command of a Techie Officer.

Although many technical officers are also sent to the Infantry so that they can use their technical knowledge to make the troops skilled as well as use their skills in the War Front.

Army Intelligence also prefers techie officers these days in order to deal with the sophisticated equipments used by them.

Many Technical Officers are also posted on probation to DRDO for R&D purposes.
Most of the Instructors in the Technical Arms are TES entry Officers.
