The Jetter School of Business at Mount Vernon Nazarene University is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). One study the essential areas of business, learning the most advanced theories and skills required in today’s hyper-competitive environment. The 12-course curriculum includes 9 core courses covering the functional areas of business—accounting, economics, finance, management, and marketing—along with ethics, leadership, organizational behavior, legal issues, global business, and strategy. One chooses one of the following concentrations: Finance it prepare one for financial leadership roles in corporations, investment banks, or financial planning firms by providing an understanding of markets and institutions, investments and financial planning. Human Resource Management it prepares one for executive roles in human resource management by providing skills in human resource leadership, training and development, and compensation and benefits. Health Care Administration it prepares one for leadership roles as a practicing clinician and health care professional in health care organizations within the private or public sector.
