The National University of Singapore Faculty of Law is Singapore's oldest and largest law school. The faculty was initially established as a Department of Law in the then University of Malaya in 1956

About the Phd Program :

The PhD is awarded on the submission of a thesis of not more than 80,000 words that is a substantial piece of original research in a particular field of law, or a critical interpretation worthy of publication, written under supervision by a Faculty academic member.

Duration :

Minimum: 2 years
Maximum: 5 years

Admission Requirement

A good Bachelors or first degree in Law (LLB/BA/JD); OR a good Masters degree in Law (LLM/BCL/MJur/MPhil) with a relevant Bachelors Degree; OR relevant equivalent qualifications.

Minimum TOEFL iBT 100. (Other TOEFL paper-based score of 600-603 or minimum IELTS 7.0 will be considered, but we strongly prefer the TOEFL iBT.)
