The National University of Advanced Legal Studies is emerging as a unique Centre of Excellence in Legal Education.

The NUALS has a full-fledged integrated five year B.A., LL.B. (Hons) Course, a one year LL.M Programme presently in International Trade Law and in Constitutional and Administrative Law, a Ph.D. Programme and PG Diploma Courses in Medical Law & Ethics and Cyber Law.

The National Institute for Advanced Legal Studies is a uni-disciplinary university in Kochi, India for undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate legal education

The Bar Council of India has recommended 38 subjects (including four training courses) for the five-year LLB course.
