National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) was established in 1989. It is the Board of Education for Distance education, under the Union Government of India. It is a National open school and it is a CBSE school.

Fees structure:
General Category Male Female SC/ST, TOC Fee
Secondary Course
(i) For 5 subjects Rs.1350 Rs.1100 Rs.900 Rs. 100/- per subject
(ii) For an additional Subject Rs.200 Rs.200 Rs.200


Senior Secondary Course
(i) For 5 subjects Rs. 1500 Rs.1250 Rs.975 Rs. 100/- per subject
(ii) For an additional Subject Rs.230 Rs.230 Rs.230
