National Law University, Delhi was established back in the year of 2008 and it is situated in Sector- 14, Dwarka, New Delhi, India, right next to the Intellectual Property Office Building. NLUD was established in 2008 by Act No. 1 of 2008 of NCT Delhi in the National Capital Territory of Delhi with the initiative of the High Court of Delhi under the leadership of Prof. (Dr). Ranbir Singh (also the Founder-Director/Vice-Chancellor of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad).

Eligibility Criteria for admission in BA LLB:
Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) system or an equivalent examination thereto securing in the aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks. The Candidates appearing in the 12th Standard Examination in March/ April, 2015 can also apply.

Candidates must have passed and selected at the All India Entrance Test held by NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI.

Candidates must be less than 21 years of age on the First day of July of the year of admission. However, in cases of SC or ST candidates the maximum age limit shall be 23 years as on the above date.
