The distance program of the National Law University, Jodhpur is designed to provide an excellent opportunity to those who want to update their knowledge and skills through the process of continuous learning.

Keeping in mind the growing importance of widening horizons to provide an opportunity to bridge the gap between theory and practice, 4 Semester oriented Two Year Master Degree Programs are being introduced.

These focused Programs aim at providing an ad-value to a knowledge pursuer as well as new linkages for one who looks forward for an aspiring career development.

M.S. in Cyber Law and Security Program
University has not closed its Distance Education (Law Programs), but pending approval, since July, 2013, University has suspended admissions in the Law Programs till further orders.

Objective
Recent progresses in Information Technology have revolutionised almost all the arenas of human endeavour. Cyber world has delimited entire world in the form of a globalised information hub.

So cyber security issues and regulatory mechanism has developed into a complex system. To understand the dynamics of cyber security and cyber law matrix, techno-legal professionals with the blended skills of law and technology are highly required.

The planned joint course of NLU and IMT - CDL aims to develop the skills to imbibe cyber security issues with a technological ground and then relate then to complex cyber world legal problems.

It also aims to provide a detailed understanding of national and international regulatory paradigms and mechanics regarding cyber law.
