Sir I have got 156 marks in IIT JEE main and now I want to take admission in National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) for B.Tech. What is the admission procedure?

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Calicut was founded in 1961 and it is a Technical Institution. It was formerly Regional Engineering College of Calicut but now it became Deemed University.
It is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and it is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
It offers various Undergraduates and Post Graduates Courses.
It is located about 22 kilometers north-east of Calicut City.

For B.Tech admission you have to participate in JOSSA counselling. I am providing you an attachment. You will get all the details from it.

I am putting out some data of the file.

Documents to be submitted at the time of reporting for institute admissions:

1. Provisional Seat Allocation letter of the fourth round/ Provisional Admission Letter, downloaded from JOSAA website.

2. Document Verification Completion letter, issued by JOSAA Reporting Centre.

3. Original Admit card of JEE (Main).

4. Score card of JEE (Main).

5. Medical Examination Report produced at the time of reporting.

6. Class X (High School) Board certificate as proof of date of birth.

7. Mark sheet and Pass certificate of the qualifying examination (Plus two).

8. School Leaving / Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended.

9. Character and Conduct Certificate from the Institution last attended.

10. Character and Conduct Certificate from a Gazetted Officer issued after January 31, 2015 for candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in years prior to the current academic year i.e., 2014-2015.

11. Community Certificate in the form prescribed by Govt of India and issued by the
Competent Authority in case of SC/ST candidates

12. Income and Nativity Certificate in case of SC/ST/OEC candidates from Kerala for Scholarship purpose.

13. Community certificate in the case of OBC candidates from a competent authority (not
below the rank of a Tahsildar) indicating the status regarding Creamy Layer in the format prescribed by JOSAA 2015, issued after April 1, 2014.

14. Ten copies of recent passport size photograph and two stamp size photographs.
