The two-year MBA (Part Time) program offered at the Mumbai Campus of School of Business Management, SVKMs Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, (Deemed to be University) caters to executives with 2 or more years of work experience in the executive, supervisory or managerial cadre in medium or large-size organisations. Eligibility One must hold a Bachelors Degree in any discipline from any of the Universities recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. One must have minimum two years of work experience in the executive, supervisory or managerial capacity in a medium or large organization. The Bachelors Degree or equivalent qualification obtained must entail a minimum of 3 years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. Evaluation Criteria The evaluation of each subject carries 100 marks. These marks are divided into following aspects: Classroom quizzes, individual assignments or group assignments, mid-term test as decided by the concerned faculty. Final written examination held at the end of the trimester in each subject. Intake Total 120 Seats Specializations Specializations are offered in the disciplines of Marketing, Finance, Information Systems, Operations Management and Human Resources Management in the second year. If the number of students enrolling for a specialization is less than 10, the specialization may not be offered. Classes The classes will be held on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for Trimester I IV and Tuesdays to Sundays for Trimester V VII. Attendance 80% attendance is compulsory in each subject, failing which students are not allowed to appear for examinations. |
