University of Mysore, Mysore offers Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) programs in various disciplines under Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Commerce and Faculty of Law.

Zoology

Eligibility

Candidates obtained at least 55% of marks at the Master Degree (M.Ed.) examination from recognized University of India.

However, there is a relaxation of 5% of marks in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes.

Duration

The duration of M.Phil course shall be for 12 months (one year).

The course comprises of two parts. Part-I is of first six months devoted to course work.

Part-II is next six months devoted to Research/dissertation work.
