A) Mass, Centre of Gravity, Work, Energy, Power, Pressure, stress, Torque, Elasticity of Material, Speed, Velocity, Newton’s laws of motion, Principle of the Gyroscope. Friction, Viscosity, Fluid Resistance, Specific Gravity, Pressure & Buoyancy in liquids, kinetic Theory of gases, Speed of sound. B) Heat & Energy, Conversion, Thermodynamics, Charle’s and Boyle’s laws, Heat Transfer, Specific Heat, Absolute and relative humidity, Vapour locks, calorific values of fuels. C) Dynamics of fluid, Pascal’s law & its application in Hydraulic press, Hydraulic and Pneumatic system.
