The Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana is provided by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation to all needy peoples. Those who have not their own house they may get benefit of this Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana from Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.

Affordable Housing project Under the Mukhymantri Gurh Awas Yojana Housing Scheme.

The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation is planned to construct total 10,011 affordable houses in Phase- I under Mukhyamantri Gruh Awas Yojana including 5074 Economically Weaker Section houses having 28.00 Sq.mtr carpet area & 4937 LIG ( Lower Income Group) houses having 45.00 Sq.mtr carpet area .

These 10,011 low cost houses are under construction at present & are in different 29 area in the city like Vejalpur, Nikol, Chandkheda, Chandlodiya, Thaltej, Kali, Vadaj, Vastral, Kankariya, Shahibaug etc. All location in different area is planned with social infrastructure like Anganwadi & Urban Health Centre.

In Phase- II of Mukhymantri Gruh Awas Yojana, AMC has invited tenders to construct total 7249 houses including 4383 EWS houses & 2866 LIG houses
