Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda provide admission to Ph.D Program through Ph.D. Entrance Test ( PET ).

MSU PET Eligibility

Candidates must have Master’s degree or recognized equivalent to Master’s degree .

Candidates must secure with 50% or equivalent grades ( without grace marks or rounding off ) .

MSU PET PhD Exam Pattern

Part – A : General Aptitude :
There shall be 35 questions; all are compulsory and each question carries Two marks. The medium of examination will be in English only.

Part – B : Discipline wise :
There shall be 50 questions, all are compulsory and each question carries Two marks.

The medium of examination shall be in English only, except in the test for language subjects other than English.

Part – C : Personality Test :
The candidates who have qualified in written test shall appear for the personality test which shall be conducted by the concerned Department / faculty / Institute; as the case may be. For this purpose department / faculty / Institute wise Personality Test Committee will be formed with the approval of the Vice-Chancellor.
