Re: MSN Or MBA Which Is Better
As you confuse between the Msn Or Mba MBA vs MSN depends on your goals after graduation. If you want to teach nursing, become faculty - MSNs are required, preferred in almost every school. If you want to become an advanced practice nurse (APN) - Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Anesthetist, Clinical Nurse Specialist, then the MSN is the way. MBAs are more helpful if you are looking to leave the bedside and go into management, work as a health administrator, start your own business, work in a nursing related field. In a nutshell, if you desire to do patient care, long term or teach, get an MSN. If you want administration or a non clinical job, go for the MBA. If you’re interested in administration and would like to specialize in a meticulous area of expertise, you could explore master degree options in nursing administration or nursing education, critical care etc. Remember to pick an accredited college and read enough articles and reviews about it before applying. Exactly what I’m am doing- reading a student analysis of College America while Reviewing colleges to pursue a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration. |
