Course Requirement

The M.S. program requires the following:


30 credit hours including a Thesis, or
30 credit hours, a Written Comprehensive Exam and an Oral Comprehensive Exam (MIP).

The credits earned towards this research degree must include a minimum of eight courses (24 hours minimum) and six hours of EEE 599 (thesis). As part of the eight courses, at least two should be outside the area of specialization.

Students desiring the M.S. in electrical engineering must initially apply to the M.S.E. program. Students who later obtain a research advisor may transfer to the M.S. program.
