Can you please give here detail about the eligibility and exam pattern for PET Exam of MS University ?

Ph. D Entrance Test (PET Exam) is conducted by Maharaja Sayajirao (MS) University of Baroda for providing admission in PHD course .

Eligibility :
Master’s degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 50% marks .

Candidates who qualified national level examinations like:
CSIR-NET,
GATE,
SET,
GPAT, and
ICMR are exempted from attending the PET entrance test of university.

MSU PET PhD Exam Pattern

Part – 1 : Written Test (Multiple choice questions)

There will be only one test paper Faculty-wise carrying weightage of 100 marks.

There shall be 50 Multiple choice questions; and each question carries Two marks.

There is no negative marking in the examination.The medium of examination will be in English only.

The duration of the test shall be 3 hours.

The candidates who score 40% marks(40 out of 100 Marks) in Written Test , will be eligible for the Personal Interview.

Part – 2 : Personal Interview

Personal interview carrying a weightage of 25 marks.
