About the university:
The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is a university in the city of Vadodara, in Gujarat state, India. Originally known as the Baroda College of Science, it became a university in 1949 after the independence of the country.

Details:
Candidates should apply for the B. Sc. (Honours) Programme. This is an undergraduate degree Programme of six semester duration and comprises of 144 credits.

Each year will be divided into two semesters. In all there will be 120 days engagement per semester which includes a minimum of 90 days of teaching (6 days per week for 15 weeks), 30 days for internal examinations, co-curricular activities etc.

Program Fees:
Fees Boys Rs. 5500/- and girls Rs. 4300/- for last year.

Eligibility:
Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination with A, B or AB group from the Gujarat higher secondary Examination board or the central board of secondary education or the council of Indian school examination or equivalent board.

A candidate who has passed the qualifying examination after appearing in hte supplementary examination conducted by Gujarat board shall also be eligible for admission in the current academic year on availability of seats.
