The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda became a university in 1949. This is the only university that offering the English medium for all courses.

Department of Architecture : This department was established in 1949. This department is a part of the Faculty of Technology and Engineering of MSU conducting the B.Arch. course since 1952. In the undergraduate courses students are getting the study of the architectural design.

Course offered: Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.)

Eligibility : 10+2 with 50% marks with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Statistics as a Compulsory Subject from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board/ Central Board of Secondary Education/ Council of Indian School Certificate Examination/ National Institute of Open Schooling/ International School Board provided that the School/ Study Centre in which the candidate has studied is located in the State of Gujarat Or in the Union Territories of Diu, Daman and Dadra & Nagar Haveli and whose parents are origin of Gujarat/ 3 years Diploma in any stream of Engineering from Institutes recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat with 50% marks.

Admission Procedure :The candidates have to appear in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). Selection will based on the merit.

Duration : Five Academic years comprising of 10 Semesters.
