Dhaka University has established the Department of Nuclear Engineering in its meeting on 29-08-2010.

Department of Nuclear Engineering is one of the newest Departments of the University of Dhaka which began its journey in January 2012.

Admission Requirements

Students who have completed four-year Bachelor's degree or three year Bachelor's and one year Master's degree in subjects mentioned below are eligible to apply.

The students must secure a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent in any of the following subjects: Physics, Applied Physics, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Information Technology.

Selection:

The selected candidates will be called for an interview before final decision for admission is made.
