Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) conducts the examination every year to select the candidates for the various posts in the state’s judicial service. Maharashtra Judicial Services Exam Eligibility Criteria • One needs to be the citizen of India. • One must have the permanent domicile in the state of Maharashtra to get the reservation benefits. • One must have completed the graduation in law from a recognized institute/university. • The age must be between 21 years and 35 years. • The candidates of the reserved category will be offered the legitimate relaxation in the upper age. • The relaxation for the candidates of the OBC category is 3 years. • Candidates of the SCX and ST category will get the 5 years relaxation in the upper age. The eligibility requirements for applying for Judicial Magistrate (First Class) Exam conducted by MPSC (Maharashtra Public Service Commission) are as follows: One needs to be the citizen of India. One must have a Degree in Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) / Master of Laws (LL.M.) with 55% from any University recognized by the Central Government / State Government. One must have the permanent domicile in the state of Maharashtra to get the reservation benefits. One’s minimum age will be 21 years and maximum should be 35 years and age relaxation applies for reserved candidates. One of the reserved categories will be offered the legitimate relaxation in the upper age. The relaxation for one of the OBC category is 3 years. One of the SCX and ST categories will get the 5 years relaxation in the upper age.
