MPSC stands for Maharashtra Public Service Commission that selects candidates for civil service jobs in the State of Maharashtra. MPSC Exams MPSC PSI Preliminary Examination This exam is conducted for recruitment of Police Sub Inspectors for the state's police force. Eligibility:- Age Limit: - 19-28 years (relaxations as per government rules). Qualification:- • Graduation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university. • Knowledge of Marathi is essential. Physical Standard:- For Male:- Height: - 165 cms (minimum) Chest:- Unexpanded: - 79 cms Expanded: - 84 cms For Female:- Height: - 157 cms (minimum) MPSC Sales Tax Inspector / Assistant Preliminary Examination This exam is conducted for recruitment of sales tax inspector and assistant in Maharashtra sales tax department. Eligibility:- Age Limit:- 19-33 years Qualification:- • Graduation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university. • Knowledge of Marathi is essential Application Procedure Those wishing to apply for MPSC 2014 can do so either online or offline . Online application includes two stages i.e. a) registration 1 b) registration 2. After submission of personal details, you will be asked to print the SBI bank challan on A4 size paper. The application fee for candidates is Rs 400 in case of general category candidates and Rs 200 in case of reserved category candidates. In offline mode, Students can get the application form from any of the specified post offices across the state of Maharashtra. The cost of the application form in offline mode is Rs.100. Yes, one can take MPSC (Maharashtra Public Service Commission) Drug Inspector Post Examination after completing B. Pharmacy Course. Drug Inspector Post Details Qualification: One must possess a degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from any recognised university established in India by law. Age & Relaxation: Not more than 27 years & below 18 years relaxable by 5 years in respect of SC/ST. No age limit for candidates already in Maharashtra Government service provided they entered service within the prescribed age limit.
