Paper Pattern for Combined Graduate Level Main Exam 2014:
The SSC CGL Main exam 2014 is conducted for the selection of the candidates in the post of Assistant Grade/ Inspectors of Central Excise/ Income Tax /Central Bureau of Investigation etc.

The exam is conducted through written exam and interview respectively for the posts as specified for this purpose.

Scheme of Exam: There are basically six papers under the SSC CGL Main Written exam. These include question on the following main topics:

Paper I: General Studies (200 Marks); Duration: 3 Hours
Paper II: English (100 Marks); Duration: 2 Hours
Paper III: Arithmetic (200 Marks); Duration: 3 Hours
Paper IV: Language Comprehension (English) (100 Marks); Duration: 2 Hours
Paper V: Communication Skill & Writing Ability (200 Marks); Duration: 2 Hours
Paper VI: Hindi (only for Delhi Police) (100 Marks); Duration: 2 Hours Time of Examination: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm or 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

Scheme of Interview/ Personality Test:

Paper I Pattern: Part A- General English (50 Marks); 2 Hours Part B- General Studies (50 Marks); 2 Hours
Paper II Pattern: Arithmetic (100 Marks); 2 Hours
