Combined Graduate Level Exam conducted by Staff selection Commission every year for the recruitment of following posts . Name of Post Assistants (CSS) Assistants in other Central Govt. Ministries/ Departments / CVC Inspector of Posts Inspector (Central Excise/ PreventiveOfficer / Examiner) Sub Inspectors Inspector of Income Tax Assistant Enforcement Officer Divisional Accountants Statistical Investigators, Gr.II Compilers Auditors Junior Accountants/Accountants UDCs: Tax Assistants: Sub Inspectors(Ex) in CPOs (ITBP,CISF,CRPF,SSB,BSF) Eligibility Age Criteria -- Age limit vary for different kinds of post. These limits are as follows: Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI: 20-27 years. Sub Inspectors (Ex) in CPOs: 20-25 years. Statistical Investigators Gr.II: Max: 26 years. For all other posts: 18-27 years Educational Qualification Applicants must possess following Essential Qualification as on Closing Date: For Statistical Investigator Grade – II Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics OR Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics as one of the main subjects. OR Bachelor’s Degree with Economics as one of the main subjects. OR Bachelor’s Degree with Commerce as one of the main subjects. For Compiler Bachelor’s degree with Economics or Mathematics or Statistics as compulsory or elective subject from any recognized University. All other Posts Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University. |
