MHT CET used to conduct to offer admissions to students into various engineering undergrad courses in Maharashtra

But since 2014 there is No separate exam for MT CET 2014 will be conducted ,admissions in Maharashtra would be made through Joint Entrance Examination.

Eligibility Criteria.

Applicants must have qualified the class XII or equivalent examination with physics and math as compulsory subjects and any one of chemistry/biology/biotechnology/computer science as optional.

Date of birth of Applicants must be on or after 1 October 1989 (1984 for SC, ST and PwD).

Only three max attempts are allowed for JEE Main 2014.

Applicants must pass the qualifying examination with 50% marks at least (45% for backward classes and PwD students).

Selection Process
JEE Main score and Class XII or equivalent exam normalized score in the ratio 50:50.

Exam Pattern.
Questions will be based on math, physics and chemistry.
There shall be 3 sections of equal marks weightage.
Questions will be of objective type.
Paper shall be conducted in online as well as offline mode.
ΒΌ mark will be cut for wrong answer
No mark will be cut for un-attempted question.
