Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramoday Vishwavidyalaya (MGCGV) is a first rural university at Chitrakoot, India. It has been accredited Grade A by NAAC.

It was established on February 12, 1991 by social activist Padma Vibhushan Nanaji Deshmukh, by a separate MP Government Act (9, 1991). It is dedicated for teaching, learning, research and extension.
