Can you tell me whether Assam University Silchar is better than Jandran Rai Rajasthan University for Mechanical Diploma course as I want to take admission in it?

Janardan Rai Nagar Rajathan Vidyapeeth University came into existence in the year 1937 and it is deemed university located in the city of Udaipur in Rajasthan. The institute is recognized for its extraordinary work in the field of adult and continuing education and the university has been making huge contribution towards research and education right from its inception. The institution earned the status of deemed university after 50 years of its establishment (i.e.) in the year 1987.

Janardhan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University offers bridge courses in the form of certificate program in mathematics with a duration of six months and certificate course in biology for a duration of six months. These courses are called as CPM and CPB and candidates enrolling for these courses will have to appear for examination for these courses along with their semester examination and it is compulsory that they should pass in the bridge courses within three attempts otherwise they will not be awarded with their degree or diploma certification. The distance education courses offered by the university are approved by the Distance Education Council located at New Delhi and the university has also earned B++ accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.

For the distance education courses, the university follows evaluation system according to the rules of the Distance Education Council, while for regular courses, three-tier evaluation system is followed, which includes the following:

• Self-Learning materials within each unit of SLMs

• Continuous evaluation mainly through computer marked or tutor marked assignments for practical as well as theory subjects of each course and through training/workshop/project or seminar

• Term-end examination for viva voce, theoretical and practical examination as per rules
