The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) is a sociologies establishment with its fundamental grounds situated in Mumbai, India. Since its foundation in 1936, it has been one of the head establishments in India in sociologies, human improvement, open arrangement and financial matters. The establishment is a part of a world class gathering of exploration and higher taking in foundations with early backing from the Tata Trusts in India. Different establishments in this gathering incorporate Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc) and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR).

Scholarly joint efforts

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences has a profound history of joint effort with establishments in India. • School of Law, Rights and Constitutional Governance conducts L.L.M. in Access to Justice
• School of Media and Cultural Studies conducts master's level courses in Media and Cultural Studies
• School of Management and Labour Studies conducts master's level courses in Human Resource Management, Labour Relations, Social Entrepreneurship, Globalisation and Labour, Organisation Development and Change.
• School of Social Work conducts master's level courses in Social Work with Children & Families, Criminology & Justice, Community Organisation & Development Practice, Dalit & Tribal Studies and Action, Disability Studies & Action, Livelihoods and Social Entrepreneurship, Mental Health, Public Health, Women-Centred Practice
• School for Vocational Education which will implement vocational training programmes in different trades through partnerships with various industries and organisations.
