AND
The candidate has taken part in the Inter-University Zonal or All India Inter-University/Sr. National tournaments in the games and sports recognized by the Inter-University Sports Board (AIU).
AND
The applicants are required to qualify the Physical Efficiency Test (Canadian Test). However, there shall be no marks for this test. PET will not be applicable to Industry sponsored/NRI applicants. Applicants failing in PET will not be called for counseling.
AND
The applicant must possess the gradation certificate (other than University tournaments) from the Sports Department of his/her state, on the basis of his/her representation/ position at National/Inter-national /Zonal/State level tournaments in the games recognized by AIU from time to time.

Bachelor’s Degree OR Post Graduate degree in any faculty from a recognized University or an equivalent degree with a minimum 45% marks. In case of two or more applicants securing equal percentage of marks, preference will be given to a applicant who is having Yoga at under graduate level. If more than one applicants are having Yoga or non having Yoga with equal percentage, the candidate senior in age will be considered higher in merit.
