JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam 2016 is conducted by Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) for admission to MBBS course for the academic session 2016

No. of Seats: There are total of 150 seats

Duration: Duration of the course is 4 years and 6 months as per the academic calendar of JIPMER followed by 1 year of compulsory rotatory internship.

Eligibility

Those who wish to fill JIPMER MBBS 2016 application form must have following eligibility criteria

Nationality: Indian Nationals Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are also eligible to apply

Qualification: Must have passed / appeared for HSC (10+2) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English / Equivalent (For further details refer Prospectus link at JIPMER | Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research)

Age: You must have attained 17 years of age at the time of admission or should complete 17 years on or before 31st Dec 2016 i.e., must have been born on or before 01st Jan 2000
