MBBS Admission in MMC

Can you tell me about the MBBS admission process in MMC (Madras Medical College) as I want to take admission in it? Also tell me about its date of sale of forms?

Madras Medical College is the oldest medical colleges in Tamilnadu and probably in India. It was established in 1850 and the courses offered here are affiliated to Dr. MGR Medical University.

Eligibility and Admission Procedure of Madras Medical College
For the admission under post graduate level i.e. MBBS

85% of the total seat is reserved for the state quota i.e. Tamil Nadu. No Entrance Examination for this category.

Time for application (Tentative): June

15% of the seat is for others i.e. the whole country which is selected by the main CBSE exam i.e. AIPMT.

Hey as The Madras Medical College is an educational institution located in Chennai, India. It was established on February 2, 1835.


Nationality

Candidate should be Indian citizen

Age limit

Candidate should completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission.

Eligibility

The candidate in order to be eligible should have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu state Government and should possess the Higher Secondary School certificate or its equivalent examination from any recognized State or higher secondary Board.

It is important for the candidate to have passed in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology as well as English in the Higher Secondary examination in order to seek admission to the MBBS course.
