As a fully AACSB-accredited business school, University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School seeks students from a wide range of backgrounds who will make a positive contribution to the classroom while continuing to excel in their careers. To be admitted into the program, one needs to hold a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and have at least two years of professional experience. While it value advanced degrees as part of an application, they are not a substitute for work experience. Application Checklist Submit the following elements to be considered for admission into MBA@UNC. 1. Online MBA@UNC Application 2. Transcripts Submit digital or hard copy version of transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. 3. Two Letters of Recommendation The Admissions Committee requires two professional recommendations, preferably from supervisors. 4. Essays 3 essays are required, and one is optional. The essay prompts are available in the online application. 5. Official GMAT External link or GRE External link Test Scores GMAT or GRE scores are required for applicants with 7 or fewer years of professional experience. Request a waiver or learn more about the GMAT/GRE policy. 6. Official TOEFL External link or IELTS External link or PTE Academic Exam External link Score for Non-native English Speakers One does not need to submit a TOEFL, IELTS or PTE score if one: Earned an undergraduate or graduate degree at a U.S. college or university Conducted your total education in English in a native English-speaking country If earned an undergraduate degree or graduate degree from India, it may request test scores from some Indian candidates as needed 7. Personal Interview Conducted Via Webcam After one had submitted application, one will be contacted by an Admissions Counsellor to set up a personal interview. 8. MBA@UNC Application Fee of $150 Some applicants may qualify for fee waivers. International Applicants MBA@UNC welcomes international candidates who have a college-level education equivalent to a U.S. undergraduate or baccalaureate degree. |
