Application Requirements- Application Fee A non-refundable application fee of $75 is required. Please pay by credit card as you submit your application online. GMAT/GRE Exam The GMAT or GRE is required of all MBA applicants, regardless of previous academic history or work experience. When requesting a score report be sent to the University of Maryland, please use the following institutional codes: GMAT Full-Time MBA code is SQT-N8-23 Part-Time MBA code is SQT-N8-26 GRE Institution code is 5814 Academic History The online application allows you to upload a scanned official transcript(s) for each college or university attended. The University of Maryland Graduate School requires all admitted students to have an undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.80/4.00. Applicants who have a grade point average below 2.80 are encouraged to use the optional essay to address this point. Quantitative Preparation Applicants must demonstrate an ability to successfully complete quantitative coursework. Candidates without previous undergraduate or graduate quantitative coursework, strong quantitative skills displayed on the GMAT or GRE test, or quantitative centered professional experience, may be asked to demonstrate their abilities by taking a class (such as calculus) at an accredited institution prior to beginning MBA coursework. TOEFL or IELTS Scores Proof of English language proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS official scores) is required for non-native English speakers. Those who have received an undergraduate or graduate degree from one of the countries listed here are waived of this requirement. Requesting a Deferral Admitted students begin their MBA program in the semester for which they have applied.
