Marriott MBA Today is a student-run news program that focuses on news of BYU MBA students and events.

Marriott MBA Today

MBA students are interviewed about their internships, clubs, case competition, recruiting trips, and business startups and also interview speakers who come to campus.

Occasionally, the students report on broader business stories that affect Marriott School students.

For example, stories about business such as Boeing, Adobe, and Goldman who have a growing footprint in Utah or stories about Goal Zero or Qualtrics which were started by BYU students and faculty, respectively.

For these broader stories, the MBA students often team up with a journalism student.

BYU Sports Business Association

Mission and purpose of the Sports Business Association is to provide an environment for MBA students to:

1. Study business problems in the context of sports

2. Provide resources to expand network of industry professionals

3. Provide resources for internship and full-time positions

This will help students learn and apply business frameworks in a new setting.

SBA will also work to provide students with enriching opportunities in the world of sports.

MBA Strategy and Consulting Club

The MBA Strategy and Consulting Club (MBASCC) is for all BYU MBA students with an interest in management consulting and corporate strategy.

MBASCC is designed to expose students to the consulting opportunities available through speakers, field trips, group discussions, networking, and competitions.

This club provides essential training and support for those seeking a career in the consulting industry but is also great for those who merely want to learn more about the industry.

One of the primary advantages to the club is the opportunity to prepare for case interviews–a core part of the recruiting process.
