MBA Entrance Exams: Common Admission Test (CAT): CAT Exam is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management. By giving this exam you can get into the top IIM's and other top institutions or B-Schools for pursuing MBA. To sit for this exam you need to ensure minimum 50 percent of marks at graduation level. Even final year students can also apply for this exam. For the reserved category candidates there is percentage relaxation. SC/ST candidates needs to secure 45 percent of marks. Selection procedure basically includes a written examination, group discussion and personal interview session. The written examination comprises of multiple choice questions and you will get two and a half hours to complete the whole paper. Questions generally comes from the following sections: Verbal Ability Reading Comprehension Data Interpretation Quantitative Ability There is no age criteria as such and you can give this examination as many times you want. Management Aptitude Test (MAT): Centre for Management Services of All India Management Association conducts the MAT exam. Every year you can give this exam for four times in the month of February, May, September and December. For MAT exam you need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Since they have not mentioned any particular percentage to obtain therefore if you pass then only you will be eligible to give this exam. Just like CAT exam this exam too can be given by the final year students who are about to appear for the final year exam or awaiting the result of their final exam.
