The Beedie School of Business is the Faculty of Business Administration at Simon Fraser University in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Founded in 1965, SFU is currently the largest business school in Western Canada. Full-time MBA of this Business School combines theory and application to provide students with grounding in the fundamentals of business. Duration: 12 Months Qualification Requirements -A Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent from a recognized university with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0/4.33 (B), or a grade point average of at least 3.33/4.33 (B+) based on the last 60 credits of undergraduate courses is required. All graduate work is also considered. Need to upgrade your qualifications? Completing our GDBA with a 3.0 or higher will allow this to count as your considering CGPA. -Two or more years of full-time work experience is preferred, although exceptional candidates with fewer than two years of experience may be considered. -GMAT score: 550 -Applicants whose primary language is not English, or whose previous education was conducted in another language, must submit evidence of satisfactory completion of a standardized English test. The minimum acceptable test scores are: TOEFL 93 with a minimum of 20 in each category (Internet based exam); or TOEFL 580 and TWE 5 (paper based exam); or IELTS (the academic not the general test) with a 7.0 overall band score and a minimum of 6.5 in any section. -Applicants’ readiness to succeed in the program will be assessed by means of a face-to-face interview, as well as a review of professional and personal experience, extracurricular and volunteer activities, and written submissions. Cost Tuition fees for the MBA full time program $36,000. Books and materials costs are estimated at $2,000 for the duration of the program. International Trip. The supplementary cross-cultural field school fee is estimated to be $2,900 - $3,300 not including airfare; it is subject to change and it is an estimated cost. Student Fees. Include Dental and Medical Insurance + UPASS (Universal Bus Pass for university students) + Recreation, Activities and Graduation fees at $400/semester. Accommodation + Food. Cost varies according to student life-style and place of residence in Metro Vancouver. |
