Program Structure To qualify for the combined degree students will be required to complete a program of study as follows: MBA LLM - 2 years full time - 144 UOC (MBA 96 UOC, LLM 48 UOC) MBA Program Structure 96 UOC to be completed as follows: 54 UOC in core courses 24 UOC in elective courses 18 UOC in exemptions for successful completion of the LLM phase of the combined degree Because of the structure of the AGSM MBA programs (core plus electives) and supporting extra-curricula activities, it is required that students commence the AGSM MBA phase of the program as a full-time student and complete three consecutive sessions. Part-time study for the AGSM MBA is available only during the elective stage of the AGSM MBA. 1. The combined degree of Master of Business Administration Master of Laws by formal course work may be awarded by the Council to a candidate who has satisfactorily completed a program of advanced study. Qualifications A candidate for the joint degree shall have been awarded an appropriate degree of Bachelor from the University of New South Wales or a qualification considered equivalent from another university or tertiary institution In exceptional cases an applicant who submits evidence of such other academic and professional qualifications as may be approved by the Committees may be permitted to enroll for the degree. If the Committees is not satisfied with the qualifications submitted by an applicant the Committees may require the applicant to undergo such assessment or carry out such work as the Committee may prescribe, before permitting enrolment. Enrolment and Progression An application to enroll as a candidate for the joint degree shall be lodged with the Registrar at least two calendar months before the commencement of the session in which enrolment is to begin. The GMAT score is required as part of the application criteria. A candidate for the degree shall be required to undertake such formal courses and pass such assessment as prescribed. The progress of a candidate shall be reviewed at least once annually by the Committees No candidate shall be awarded the degree until the lapse of four academic sessions from the date of enrolment.
