Re: MBA GRE or GMAT
Hello friend both exam GRE or GMAT is required for admission to most business schools but the GRE test is required for admission to most graduate schools and a growing number of business schools. If a candidate is definitely going for an MBA, taking the GMAT would be an advantage. The time-tested GMAT score has been considered a better indicator of a student’s capability and preparedness for a tough MBA program. But Applicants will have to check the college website to see if they encourage candidates to submit the GRE score or not. Increasing number of business schools have started accepting the GRE score. The GRE consists of a 60-minute Analytical Writing section - with two essays at 30 minutes each. There is a Verbal Reasoning section, also with two 30-minute parts. There are two 35-minute Quantitative Reasoning sections. There's also a 30-35 minute experimental section that can be either math or verbal. The GMAT consists of a 30-minute Analytic section with one essay, a 30-minute Integrated Reasoning section, a 75-minute Quantitative section and a 75- minute Verbal section. The GMAT is a computer-adaptive test and GRE is also a computer adaptive by section exam in the United States. How Long Are Scores Valid For? GMAT: 5 years GRE: 5 years |
