University of Kerala offers two year M.B.A. (Full time) & MBA (Tourism –Full time) Programme under the Credit and Semester system at IMK Kariavattom Campus. Its Common Admission Test is known as KU-CAT.

MBA Entrance Exam Syllabus Kerala University

KU CAT English/Verbal Ability: Reading comprehension, verbal reasoning, syllogisms, analogies, antonyms and synonyms, fill in the blanks, sentence correction, idioms, etc.

KU CAT Maths/Quant Ability: Number systems, geometry, trogonometry, probability, permutation combination, algebra, mensuration, time and work, averages, percentages, profit and loss, quadratic and linear equations, etc.

KU CAT Data Interpretation: Interpretation and analysis of data based on text, tables, graphs (line, area), charts (column, bar, pie), venn diagram, etc.

KU CAT Logical Reasoning: Clocks, calendars, binary logic, seating arrangement, blood relations, logical sequence, assumption, premise, conclusion, linear and matrix arrangement, etc.

Admission Procedure:
The candidates who clear the entrance exam will be invited to participate in the Group Discussion and Interview.

Rank list for admission will be finalized on the basis of the score obtained in:

Entrance Test (70% weightage),
Group Discussion (15% weightage)
Interview (15% weightage)

The students who are appearing for their final year/final semester degree examination are also eligible to apply

Seat Availability at the Dept.:

1. MBA (General): 40 Seats; Fee/Sem.: Rs.12500/-

Eligibility Criteria :

Applicants must have passed Graduation Degree from any Indian Universities under the regular stream Recognized by the University of Kerala .

In all the cases the student should have passed the degree examination with not less than 50% marks in Part III marks .

Test Centres :

The candidates are required to appear for the MBA Entrance Test at any of the following Centres:

(1) Thiruvananthapuram
(2) Alappuzha
(3) Thrissur
