The Wharton School is the Business School of the University of Pennsylvania, a private Ivy League University located in Philadelphia.

It was established in 1881 through a donation from Joseph Wharton.

It is the first business school in the United States.

MBA Economics Requirements:

All applicants must submit results of a Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or a Graduate Record Examination (GRE) that are no more than five years old. For the Fall 2016 entering class, tests taken between October 31, 2010, and March 30, 2016, will be accepted.

The GMAT code for the Wharton MBA Program is G56-97-73. The GRE code is: 6802.

Additional Requirements

MBA/MA–Lauder applicants must complete a 20-minute Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) by telephone to assess language skills
