Re: MBA deakin university
MBA (Healthcare Management) Program offered by Deakin University is jointly run and managed by the Deakin Business School and the School of Medicine. It offers the best of both worlds - the core of Deakin's MBA program and a tailored set of health units designed to prepare you to manage and lead healthcare services in Australia and overseas. Entry Requirements Admission to postgraduate courses is through a number of Admission categories. In all categories of admission, selection is based primarily on academic merit as indicated by an applicant's previous academic record. Entry will be based on performance in: A Bachelor degree in any discipline and three years relevant work experience OR A Graduate Certificate in a related discipline and five years relevant work experience OR A Graduate Diploma equivalent (professional pathways) Duration 2 years full-time or part-time equivalent Course Structure One must attain a total of 16 credit points, consisting of 8 credit points of core units offered by the Faculty of Business and Law and 6 credit points of core units and 2 credit points of elective units offered by the Faculty of Health. Most units (think of units as 'subjects') are equal to 1 credit point. One is introduced to research tools and techniques in core units of the course where they learn analytic skills and the practical application of those skills in professional contexts. One must also complete advanced level units and a capstone unit that require them to integrate the skills learnt over their course of study and produce applied pieces of research with reference to prevailing literature. Work Experience This course does not require students to complete compulsory work integrated learning units. Fee Information Estimated tuition fee - full-fee paying place $33,720 for 1 yr full-time Estimated tuition fee - (CSP) Not applicable |
