I want to know whether MBA is required to become a CFO. What is better option between CPA and MBA?

Re: Mba cfo
To enroll in an MBA program is good way to continue developing your skills. CFOs without a degree have a median salary of only $38,920; BA/BS/BBAs earn $88,836, while MBAs receive $104,284. Just a few years back, many senior finance executives were MBA holders, but recently CPAs have beaten them as the leading candidates for chief financial officer positions. MBA qualification might be better regarded than an accountancy accreditation only when the CFO role has a strong focus on corporate development and mergers and acquisitions. |
