Re: Which MBA is better??? MBA professionals Vs. MBA Students
Well I think both are equally skilled and if you want to compare them on the basis of toughness in course then i think MBA for students is more hard because of extra work load where as MBA for professionals is a relatively simpler. Re: Which MBA is better??? MBA professionals Vs. MBA Students
Here are some of the parameters on which you can decide on your own which MBA program suits you the most. What's in a name? MBA: A Masters of Business Administration is normally a two-year program, stretched out to three or four years if you chose to go part-time. EMBA: An Executive Masters of Business Administration is also a two-year program, intended toward business executives with five years’ managerial experience. What’s the work load? Full-time MBA students have exhaustive schedules, making it tough to maintain a job outside the program. EMBA students have their full-time jobs, and usually attend classes on Fridays and the weekends. What’s the difference in curriculum? MBA: In addition to core curriculum, MBAs can concentrate in such areas as finance, marketing and entrepreneurship, and they can usually choose when to take a class. EMBA: The programme is faster-paced, but they cover the same material. Programs offer smaller number electives, and they’re designed so that students take most classes, What’s the cost? MBA: Tuition fees are on your expenses, though an MBA tends to cost a smaller amount than the EMBA. In the top ten business schools, anticipate the total cost to be over $150,000. EMBA: The majority of firms pay most if not all tuition fees. After all, they would be benefiting from the new skills their managers are learning. And along with paying for fees, you’re also receiving full salary. Location, location, location MBA: You can be present at anywhere you can get in. EMBA: If you sketch to continue in your job, you’re limited to area schools. The Bottom Line So far as job security goes, neither degree makes you bullet-proof. However, in a 2009 survey held by the Graduate Management Admission Council, EMBAs were considered the most satisfied with their education. |
