Re: MBA Better in India or USA
There’s no point in comparing the best of the Indian MBA institutes, like the IIMs, with low-ranked MBA courses abroad. Similarly, comparing Stanford or Harvard MBA programs with that of an average MBA school in India is preposterous. Indian MBA programs, at least those in good institutes, have evolved considerably over the years and are now very good. They have excellent faculty members, challenging courses, and great employment opportunities at the end of it all. The MBA programs in the US provide students an opportunity to study in an exciting international environment along with students from diverse cultural background who join the US universities. The MBA program in the US also imbibes various soft skills like team building, leadership, entrepreneurial, decision making etc. The amount of money one need for pursuing an MBA degree from USA is going to be 4-5 times what it would cost at the most expensive Indian B-school. Top MBA Schools in USA Harvard University, MA Stanford University, CA University of Pennslyvania (Wharton), PA Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Sloan), MA Northwestern University (Kellogg), IL University of Chicago (Booth), IL University of California – Berkely (Haas), CA Columbia University, NY Darthmouth College, (Tuck), NH New York University (Stern), NY Top MBA Schools in India Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, Delhi Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIML) Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM), Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) XLRI Xavier Institute of Management, Jamshedpur |
