MAT Exam for MBA

I want to give MAT exam for admission in MBA so please tell me that can I give MAT twice in a year? Also give important details about MAT exam?

MAT is an exam for candidates who want to take admission in MBA courses and it is conducted by AIMA 4 times every year in the months of February, May, September & December.

You can apply any number of times you want there is no restriction in number of attempts and in number of attempts in a year.

MAT Exam Dates:
MAT December 2014 Exam Date MAT Dec 2014 Paper Based Test Date: 07th December, 2014 (Sunday)

MAT Dec 2014 Computer Based Test Date: 13th December, 2014 (Saturday)

MAT Eligibility:

Graduates in any discipline
Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply.

MAT Exam Pattern:
1. Language Comprehension: 40 Questions
2. Mathematical Skills: 40 Questions 40
3. Data Analysis and Sufficiency: 40 Questions
4. Intelligence and Critical Reasoning: 40 Questions
5. Indian and Global Environment: 40 Questions
Total: 200 Questions

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a regular test to select candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes. Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test and is approved by over 600 B-Schools across India. It is conducted 4 times in a year in the month of February, May ,August and November.

Eligibility
Graduates in any discipline
Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply.

Mode of Test
Candidate can choose any one of the two options to take the test:
Paper Based Test
Or
Computer Based Test

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) Syllabus

There is no defined syllabus for MAT. In past examinations MAT mainly comes from following disciplines

Intelligence and Critical Reasoning - Reasoning Tests and Logic Tests

In the Intelligence and Critical Reasoning , questions are normally seen from the various reasoning tests like direction sense, blood relations, coding and decoding, data arrangement, sequences and series etc and logic tests such as statement assumptions, statement arguments and statement conclusions

Mathematical Ability (Arithmetic, Commercial Maths, Mensuration etc)

The questions from Number, HCF and LCM, Systems, Ratio Proportion, Averages, simplification, ages, boats and streams etc and from commercial maths interest, profit loss, percentages and discounts etc

Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency

The Data Interpretation and Sufficiency area contains sets of questions on Tables, Bar / Line graphs, Pie chart and Data Sufficiency

English Usage (Grammar, Vocabulary, Proficiency and Usage Errors)

Questions on reading comprehension, antonyms,synonyms, analogies, sentence correction, sentence completion, para jumbles, fill in the blanks etc

Indian and Global Environment - GK, General Studies, Current Events

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes.

Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. Any B-School - national or international - can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates

The largest test of its kind in the nation, MAT will continue to be your passport to over 600 B-Schools across India

MAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria-
Graduates in any discipline
Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply

Mode of Test-
Candidate may choose any one of the two options to take the test:
Paper Based Test (or) Computer Based Test
Paper Based Test: 01st May 2016 (Sunday)
Computer Based Test: 07th May 2016 (Saturday) onwards

How to Apply for MAT 2016 (May)-

Candidate may choose any one of the following modes to apply

Register online at website with Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card). Payment Detailed procedure is given on the website link
Or
Register online at website by making payment of Rs.1200/- through Net Banking
Or
Obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs.1200/- (One thousand two hundred only) in favour of "All India Management Association" payable at Delhi from any Bank. Register online at website along with the demand draft details
Or
Obtain Form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs.1200/- (One thousand two hundred only) from listed Nodal Centres of AIMA OR from AIMA, New Delhi

Important Dates for MAT 2016 (May)-

Last Date for Online Registration: 19th April 2016 (Tuesday)

Late Date for Online Filling-up /Purchase of Form: 16th April 2016 (Saturday)

Last Date for Submission of duly Completed Printout of Registration Form at AIMA,

New Delhi: 19th April 2016 (Tuesday)

All provisionally registered candidates both for Paper Based and for Computer Based

Test may download their Admit Card from AIMA website on or after 23rd April 2016 (Saturday)
