Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi every year in the month of February, May, September and December. MAT 2014 Important Dates for September Last Date For sale of Forms: 23 August 2014 (Saturday) Last Date for submission of filled in Registration Forms at AIMA, New Delhi: 25 August 2014 (Monday) Last Date For Online Registration (Saturday): 23 August 2014 (Saturday) Last Date for submission of filled in Online Registration Forms at AIMA, New Delhi : 25 August 2014 (Monday) Date for Paper Based Test: 07 September 2014 (Sunday) Date for Computer Based Test: 13 September 2014 (Saturday) onwards Eligibility: The applicant should have completed graduation with minimum 50% marks from any recognized university of India, Exam Pattern: Total number of Questions: 200 Total Time: 150 minutes Areas of Weightage: Verbal Ability-40 questions Quantitative Aptitude-40 questions Data Interpretation and Data sufficiency-40 questions Reasoning Ability-40 questions General Awareness-40 questions Syllabus: Intelligence and Logical Reasoning - Reasoning Tests and Logic Tests In the Intelligence and Critical Reasoning , questions are normally seen from the various reasoning tests like direction sense, blood relations, coding and decoding, data arrangement, sequences and series etc and logic tests such as statement assumptions, statement arguments and statement conclusions Mathematical Ability (Arithmetic, Commercial Maths, Mensuration etc) The questions from number HCF and LCM, systems, ratio proportion, averages, simplification, ages, boats and streams etc. from commercial maths addition interest, profit loss, percentages and discounts Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency The Data Interpretation and Sufficiency area contains sets of questions on Tables, Bar / Line graphs, Pie chart and Data Sufficiency English Usage (Grammar, Vocabulary, Proficiency and Usage Errors) Questions on reading comprehension, antonyms,synonyms, analogies, sentence correction, sentence completion, para jumbles, fill in the blanks etc Indian and Global Environment - GK, General Studies, Current Events |
