Anwar Jamal Kidwai Mass Communication Research Center (AJK MCRC), Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi was foudned in 1982 by Anwar Jamal Kidwai, the Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia University.

It was initially funded by a grant from CIDA, the Canadian International Development Agency. It offer training in film and video production at a post-graduate level.
