Karnataka CET is organized by the Karnataka Examination Authority to get admission in the engineering courses at graduate level in the state of Karnataka.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

They must have Chemistry / Bio-technology / Computer-Science / Electronics / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study.

They must have attained 45% marks in aggregate in optional subjects.

Application Fees:
Fees for general category is Rs. 650 (Rs 500 for SC, ST and OBC)

Exam pattern
Exam Pattern will be based on four subjects namely Biology, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry pertaining 60 marks each.
All these subjects will comprise of the 60 questions each.

Payment of Application fees at Bank
March 8 to 17, 2014

Last Date of Payment of Application Fees by DD
March 20, 2014 extended till April 1, 2014

Last Date for Submission of KEA Copy of Challan at School/Colleges
April 4, 2014

Admission Tickets available for download
April 28, 2014

Entrance Test
May 1 & 2, 2014

Result Declaration
May 27, 2014

KCET 2014 Counselling
starts from June 2, 2014
